Please let us know if you are unable to make your appointment. We require more than 24 hours notice of all cancellations, & in this instance, we will reschedule your appointment. If we are informed within 24 hours prior to your appointment, or you are a “no show”, you will be charged the appropriate cancellation fee for your chosen service. See cancellation fees below:
Aftercare: $20
Curation or Consultations: $30
One piercing appointment: $40
Two or more piercing appointment: $50
We will hold your booking for 5-10 mins, but failure to arrive within this timeframe will result in a 'no show' cancellation fee being applied and your appointment will be cancelled.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind due to health & hygiene reasons. We need to ensure the sterility of our jewellery to adhere to and comply with NSW health regulations. If you believe your jewellery to be faulty, please contact us at info@artefact-artefact.com and we can review your pieces and offer an adequate solution.
PLEASE NOTE:
We strongly recommend purchasing your jewellery at the time of your appointment so we can size you correctly and advise on appropriate styles and sizing of frontals and posts as per your anatomy. Should you choose to pre-purchase piercing jewellery prior to your appointment, it is your responsibility to bring your jewellery with the tamper-proof seal intact or we are unable to sterilise the jewellery and you will be required to purchase additional jewellery for your piercing service.
We have your healing and health as our number one priority and always wish to take care of our clients and give them the best service and opportunity for beautifully well healed piercings that compliment their unique anatomy rather than working against it.
PIERCING JEWELLERY GUARENTEE & WARRANTY
If you have issues within 30 days of insertion please email info@artefact-artefact.com to arrange a complementary replacement or repair. Any issues between from 30 day to 1 year post installation we only offer repairs. We cannot cover lost jewellery outside of 30 days. Please note we do offer warranty on piercing jewellery inserted at home. To ensure your warranty is valid book an appointment with our piercing team to ensure your frontals have been properly installed.
PREGNANT & BREASTFEEDING CLIENTS
Artefact will not perform piercing or re insertion services on clients who are currently breastfeeding or pregnant. If you arrive to your appointment and are either pregnant or breastfeeding, your appointment will be cancelled and you will be charged the appropriate cancellation fee to the card on file.
CHILDREN AT APPOINTMENTS
Artefact kindly requests that you come to your appointment childfree. This is due to strict health and safety regulations in regards to our welding machine and our piercing studio where we work with sharps and hazardous waste. If you arrive at your appointment with your children, we will unfortunately have to cancel/reschedule your appointment and you will be charged the appropriate cancellation fee to the card on file.
AGE RESTICTIONS
If under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must be present to provide consent. Artefact will pierce children from the age of 8 for lobes only. For cartilage piercings, the age requirement is 16 years of age. If these terms are not met, your appointment will be cancelled and you will be charged the appropriate cancellation fee to the card on file.
NUMBING CREAM
Artefact will not perform any piercing services on those that have used numbing cream on the piercing site.
When booking online you will receive a confirmation email - please make sure that the correct time, date & services have been selected. Please arrive 5-10 mins prior to your appointment time to fill out any paperwork & so you can begin to select your adornments.
